Karilene Brough Pack returned to her Father-in-Heaven Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the age of 51. Karilene was born July 12, 1955, the daughter of Ben and Lorraine Brough and the oldest of five children. She graduated from Davis High and was married to Rick Pack for 27 years. She had a deep love for music and the peace it instilled. She enjoyed playing the piano, dancing, gardening, volleyball with her friends and singing in the Ward & Stake Choirs. She served the Lord with diligence and gratitude in her many callings in the Primary and Young Women organizations. Throughout her life, Karilene had a gift to make people laugh; she was selfless and giving to the end. She was kind with a sincere heart and believed in charity. She found ways to reach out to everyone and delighted in the service of others. It was not rare to find her stopping to help a stranger, providing meals, or tending the neighborhood children. Her life was defined by compassion and kindness. Karilene was happiest in the company of her family and her greatest love was her children and recently her grandchildren. The world has been blessed by her presence. Karilene is survived by her five children, Ryan, Jenny, Jared, Kim and Jeff; her granddaughters, Kylie, Alyssa, Mikaela and Natalie; her parents, Ben & Lorraine Brough; and four siblings, Gary, Joan, Lori and Christine. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Fruit Heights Chapel on 24 S. Country Ln. Friends may call Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary on 1941 N. Main St. Farmington (across from cherry hill) and again on Friday at the church 9:45 - 10:45 prior to services. Interment: Kaysville Memorial Park.
