Doyle was born Oct 25, 1955 in Waltham, Mass. to Doyle J. and Nancy Barker Gartrell. He was a student at Davis High School; member of Farmington Third Ward; Priest; member of VICA Club (Auto Mechanics); member of Spikers Rodeo Club.
Survivors are his father of Farmington; mother of Salt Lake City; stepmother, Connie L. of Farmington; brothers, Kevin, Mike, and Troy, of Farmington; sister, Connie J. of Farmington; stepsisters Debbie and Christie of Farmington; grandparents, Harold and Thelma Hower of Farmington; Marjorie Barker of Weston, Mass.; step-grandparents, Major and Alverta Fronaberger, of Calif.; great grandmother, Julia Treadwell of Worcester, Mass.
Services were held Saturday, Dec 16 in the Davis Stake House with Bishop Larry Shepherd officiating. Pallbearers were Kevin Smith, Reuben Dietz, Gordon Richins, Kevin Gartrell, Jim Kourbelas, and David Munk.
Dedication of the grave was by Delbert Wood. Interment was in the Farmington City Cemetery.
