Funeral services were held for Michael "D" Van Fleet, 17, of Farmington, who died Dec 13, 1972 of an auto accident.
Michael was born March 1, 1955 in Salt Lake City to Paul H. and Ila Renee Lunda Van Fleet. He was a student at Davis High School, Member of the LDS Church; Priest in Farmington First Ward; Eagle Scout; and Order of the Arrow; member of National High School Rodeo Association; member of Golden Spike Rodeo Association.
Survivors include his parents of Farmington; three sisters, Debra, Julie, Sandra, all of Farmington; and three grandparents.
Services were held Saturday, Dec 16, at the Davis Stake House in Farmington. Friends called Friday at the Bountiful Union Mortuary and Saturday at the stake house one hour prior to services. Pallbearers were Curt Buhler, Kevin Smith, Craig Fisher, Scott Van Fleet, Curtis Sweeten, and David Munk. Dedication of the grave was given by Gordon Van Fleet. Interment was in the Farmington City Cemetery.
