Howard Robert Scheurer, 36, passed away Monday, Aug 17, 1992 at the LDS Hospital, Salt Lake City.
He was born in Big Spring, Texas, a son of Robert Lee and Helen Viola Brooks Scheurer. He married Unruan Sassathorn in June, 1978; later divorced. He served an LDS Mission to Bangkok, Thailand, 1975-1977.
Howard worked as a supervisor in a chemistry lab. He was past president of Porche Club of America, Intermountain Chapter, and he loved basketball.
Surviving are two sons, Justin Yim Scheurer and Peter Wittawa, both of Salt Lake City; mother, Kaysville; father, Lutz, Florida; brother, David, Magna; half-sister, Kristin, Greensboro, North Carolina and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 21, 1992, 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 13th LDS Ward Chapel, 875 East 200 North. Friends may call Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Friday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
