This website will radically change format after our 55th Reunion. But myevent.com has agreed to let us keep this format until then. The new format will be specialized to work with smart phones. You will still be able to access it and enter information on a computer - no worries there.

Comment: After living for almost 30 years up in the mountains at the base of beautiful Mt. Shasta, I moved back to the Bay Area in 2008 and started my life over.  I was very fortunate to find a position in the special education dept of the Lafayette School District that many of us grew up in.  



Although I just retired in June of this year from the school dist.,  I also had a private tutoring business. I will continue to tutor for as long as I’m able.  



I so look forward to seeing all of you.  And if yu have not had the pleasure of attending the last two reunions, you are certainly in for a wonderful treat.  Our gracious hosts from five years ago,  Mike and Debb, have a lovely home and it’s the perfect setting for this very special 50 year event!

While in graduate school I met my wife.  We were married in 1974 and raised two fine sons.  One is working with an oil firm in Texas as a financial analyst.  The other is working during the week as a computer engineer and on weekends with me on our ranch in south Mississippi.



 



In 1979 I began work as an oceanograher with the Naval Oceanographic Office located in southern Mississippi.  My wife and I were also interested in various outdoor farming and ranching activities.  Over the years we've raised blueberries (15 acres harvested mechanically), cattle, emu, and sheep.  After 33 years as an oceanograper, I am now retired and a full time rancher/farmer.  My wife, son and I now raise Katahdin sheep (meat sheep, no wool shearing) on 425 acres in south Mississippi.  Most of my time is spent tending to the sheep, improving our ranch infrastructure, and enjoying the outdoors.  Our goal for the next 30 years is to expand our sheep operation and restore on our property the great southern longleaf pine and native grasslands ecosystem that was logged away in the early 1900's.
