John Emory Cridge
June 15, 1971 - November 21, 2016

John Emory Cridge, 45, of Central Square passed away unexpectedly on Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. Born June 15th, 1971, in Utica NY, he was the son of Sharon (Alvord) Ellis and the late Sherwood Cridge. 

He attended school in Deland FL. He enjoyed surfing, fishing and dirt bike racing. He was able to travel to Puerto Rico and Costa Rica on surfing trips.  He was very proud of the work he did alongside his predeceased brother Jimmy with the NASCAR Circuit. Also, he worked for the Truck Center in Deland FL, and later in New York at the Stumpf Farm, Wegmans and Sun Auto. 

John is survived by his mother, Sharon (Alvord) Ellis, sister, Susan (David) May, both of Central Square and his brother Steven Cridge of Oregon, three nieces, one nephew, an aunt, an uncle, several cousins, and best friend Suzie Anderson of New Smyrna Beach,FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212. Graveside services will be held in the spring in Liverpool Village Cemetery
