The Home Going Celebration will be 4pm Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church, Pastor Terry L. Brown, 710 W Cincinnati Ave., DeLand, FL. Burial will follow the service at Union Cemetery, W. Euclid Ave., DeLand, FL. Visitation hours will be from 12-7pm today (Friday) at Unity Funeral Home. On January 2, 1971, in DeLand, FL., Audrey Hayward and Ronnie Solomon celebrated the birth of Audie Bownick Smith. He was educated in the public schools of DeLand, FL. Audie transitioned into eternal rest on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 12:18pm. at Fish Memorial Hospital, Orange City, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James and Derrick and grandchild, Tyrell, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Sherry Smith; parents, Johnny and Delores Denton; children, TaShonda, Erica, Johnice (Terrion), Whitney, and Autrice (Justin); siblings, Terrance (Geraldine), Mildred (Ron), Lonnie, Averiel (Tonita), Renee, Tamika, Ronnie, Jr., Stevie, Shagaria and Patrice; extended siblings, Johnny, Patricia and Patrick; grands, Jayland, Jalearya, Ty'Rianna, Justin, Jr., Jamirra, Neavah and Jaliyah; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
