A lifelong learner, she was reading at 2. She attended Volusia County schools graduating from DeLand High in 1990. She continued her education by earning a bachelor's degree from Stetson University; a Master's degree from Webster University and was pursuing her doctoral degree. Kesia loved life. Her hard work was evidenced through her employment with Publix and Tyco and most recently as an English teacher at Deltona High.
