On Saturday, October 22nd, Tami R. Dingman, a beloved sister, passed away. She was 62 years old. Born to Delores and Richard Dingman. She graduated from Lincoln High School.
She went on to have a professional career in the Food & Beverage industry where she managed or directed operations for many companies. For a few years in Des Moines, IA, she was co-owner of the Army Post Tap where she and her sister Christina bartend and our mother “Dee” provided home cooked meals for her patrons. Tami enjoyed entertaining and was recognized by many other peers in the industry as being generous and wanting to have a good time for all. Tami was active in playing golf and competing in Bocce ball with friends.
Tami is survived by her siblings Suzanne Belcher of Allen, Texas, Steve Dingman & Susan Wilson of Chicago, Mike (Teresa) Dingman of Ottumwa and Michelle McCullough of Des Moines; nieces and nephews Angela, Heather, Tyler and Joshua. She is preceded in death by her sister Christina Smith.
The family has planned a private cremation and a memorial service to be announced later at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines.
