As some of you know, our friend Jordan has been having some medical issues. This past week, Jordan was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma with central neck lymph node carcinoma. This is a slow growing cancer and we are all praying for a full recovery.
Surgery is scheduled for February 20th, and as most of you are aware, even with insurance, expenses can get overwhelming.
Jordan's recovery will take 2-4 weeks with only 2 weeks paid time off. They will not be able to have visitors during that time. We thought this would be a good way for our long distance friends to show support with left over medical expenses and other living expenses that won't be covered.
Being in the medical field, Jordan was able to pick the entire medical team assisting them through this.
As we said before, this is a slow growing cancer, and we hope it was caught before it spread. More information will be available after the surgery.
Any information that we get will be passed along through here.
Please direct any questions to Knucky. As you can imagine, Jordan is exhausted and overwhelmed with the news.
Thank you all for your thoughts, well wishes, prayers, and generosity.
Our community wouldn't be what it is without each and every one of us.
The surgery is over and Jordan is resting in a room!
Jordan is out of surgery and in post op. More info to come as it rolls in!
A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE CONTRIBUTED! You guys are amazing! Jordan and I spoke yesterday and they were moved to tears at all of the help. I'd like to apologize to those that did not want their donations to be anonymous the website can be tricky to maneuver. All updates after the surgery on the 20th will still be posted here. Please check back in. If you wanted to make a donation and needed to wait. Please feel free to do so. A little extra never hurts anyone. I'll also post updates on Jordan's Facebook.
Thank you so much for all of the support! Keep it coming my friends. Let's get this sweet pea all set up.
