Carlson, Daniel Craig Age 27, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away May 27, 2012. He is survived by parents, Jeff Carlson and Toni Thoma; brother, Jeffrey and many family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held 4 pm Tuesday, June 5 at Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave. S., Mpls. Visitation starts at 3 pm before service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Andrew Hurwitz

Hurwitz, Andrew Frankel of Edina, died unexpectedly on August 1 at age 23. Beloved son of Jake Hurwitz and Doreen Frankel, brother of Margot, grandson of Betty Frankel and the late Morris Frankel and the late Doris and Irving Hurwitz, nephew of Rita Frankel and Cindy Frankel Schnelle, Alan Hurwitz and the late Marcia Fisdel. He was a graduate of UC Santa Cruz, 2007 and spent time teaching English in Viet Nam. He worked for National Wind in Minneapolis. Andrew loved his family, his friends, music, sports and most of all Annie. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Lindsay 'Erin' Lough

Lough, Lindsay "Erin" 31, of Phoenix AZ (previously of Rochester, MN and Edina, MN), died on May 12, 2016 in Phoenix. She is survived by her father Bill Lough, mother Barbara Pinaire, and sister Trevelyn "Trevi" Lough. Born in Houston TX October 22, 1984 Erin moved with her family to Edina MN in 1986. She attended Highlands Elementary continuous progress program, Southview Middle School, and graduated from Edina High School in 2003. Erin graduated from Princeton University in 2007 with highest honors in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She spent a summer in Thailand on a Princeton in Asia fellowship and a year on a biological research station on the Madre de Dios River in Peru on a Princeton in Latin America fellowship. Erin earned an MA from the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State in 2011. She attended Mayo Medical School in both Rochester MN and Phoenix AZ. She was in her third year rotations at Mayo Medical School when her mental illness consumed her life. Always creative and artsy, Erin's passions in life were dancing, photography, writing and her chinchillas. From pre-school through high school, she danced and performed with Lake Harriet Dance School, City of Lakes Junior Dance Company, and Deuxmensions Dance Theater. She continued to take classes at Zenon, Princeton, and most recently at Arizona Ballet. An avid nature photographer, she was teaching photography classes on line. In 2011 she published a book of her Amazon nature photography "What Springs of Rain." More of her nature photography, wedding photography and documentary videos (Vimeo) can be viewed by accessing her name on line. A beautiful writer, she was writing a book on how mental illness affected her life when she died. Mental illness is a horrible disease. Mental illness kills beautiful people. Erin was a beautiful person. Her family and friends will always love and cherish her. Forever missed. Never forgotten. Heaven has acquired a caring and gentle soul. Grant Medellin

Medellin Grant Tyler Medellin, age 19, died unexpectedly on March 24, 2004. Survived by his father, Juan Medellin; and mother, Vicki Iverson; brother, Blake Cody Medellin; grandparents, Ed and Maria Susterich, and Janice Emanuelson; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Grant and his brother Blake lived with their Dad and Ruth Cederberg for the past 14 years. Grant was born on March 20, 1985 in St. Paul. He was raised in Edina and graduated from Edina High School in 2003 and was currently attending Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prairie. Grant was happy, unselfish and a giving person - always ready to help a friend in need, day or night. He lived each day to the fullest. Grant's passion was fixing and repairing automobiles, with a special interest in installing car stereo systems for himself and his friends. He was looking forward to working at Valley Fair this summer as a life guard. He was a good ambassador of friendship. In advance, we would like to thank all of Grant's friends, our friends, C.P. Kimberly Peterson

Peterson, Kimberly Beth Age 27, of Burnsville, passed away peacefully of natural causes on June 24, 2013 at home. Kim is survived by her mother Susan Blake (Mike) and father Steven Peterson (Paula); and her beloved, very special sister "KP" Kristin. Also by her Grandma Jean Ackerman, Aunt Jan & Uncle Abe, Aunt Judy, Aunt Kathy & Uncle Robb, Uncle Tom & Aunt Mary, Aunt Tammy, five step siblings, and many beloved cousins. Kim was preceded in passing by Grandpa "Ack", Grandpa Peterson & Grandma "Bee".Kim was raised in Edina and graduated from Edina HS in 2003. She worked at Wells Fargo Mortgage and previously at US Bank. Kim also worked at Good Samaritan United Methodist Church the past 7 years in the nursery. Kim will be remembered by all as a kind and caring person whose first priority was always to help others. She loved her family and friends, children, going to the lake and skiing, music, and eating good food! Visitation Monday July 1, 5:00-6:30pm, followed by a memorial/celebration service at 6:30, all at Good Samaritan Church, 5730 Grove St, Edina 55436. Reese, Rachael Jacqueline age 25, of Bloomington, our beautiful, special daughter, grandchild, sister, niece and dear friend to many, passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2010. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Richard Reese. She is survived by her loving parents, Mia Rapoport Strouts and Scott Strouts, and Richard Reese; brothers Richie Reese and Jack Strouts and sister Shaina Killian, her adoring grandparents, Joy Reese, Larry Rapoport and Lorie Holmes (George). She is survived by aunts and uncles, Sara Strouts, Steven Strouts, Michelle Uhden (Derek), Judith Rapoport, Dr. Robert (Bob) Reese, Robin Reese Sowe (Modou), Rachelle Reese and Ronald Reese. She was also survived by many loving cousins, relatives and friends. Elyse Stern

Stern, Elyse Mary 28 years died tragically on March 30th. She was a bright, beautiful, independent, free spirit. She lived her short life to the fullest every day. Elyse was a world traveler, sailor, gardener, welder, knitter and played lead clarinet in the band Tiny Fantasy. She was always looking forward to the next great adventure. Elyse was preceded in death by her baby sister, Emily, her uncle Keith and her grandparents, Allene and Ken Stern. She is survived by her parents, Robin and Randy; her brother Jess; her sister, Clarie; her grandparents, Carol and Harry Rodberg; and her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Elyse leaves behind the love of her life, Tynan Kerr; countless friends; her very best friend, Rachel and her beloved dog, Marla. Elyse will be deeply missed by her family and those whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Elyse's life will be on Wednesday from 3-6 PM with a Time of Sharing at 6 PM at Bradshaw, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So.
