Do I know now more than I ever did then, yes! Did we get the best start from high school, yes! Could we have done better or more, yes! (A couple of do overs would be nice. RIGHT! I bet we all tried to do the best we could have at the time or even now. For some of us, the future is yet to be our greatest days! It is not who we thought we were, or who we became to be, who we are now, but what we will do to transfer our knowledge of what we know now to the future generations. It is what we will be remembered for, our legacy. See some of you soon! |

Hi to you all, It's very hard to believe that 50 years have gone by! But, I have 2 great-grandchildren now, so I know I am OLD!! I married Dave Trelease in 1995 in Vegas, and even Elvis came to sing a few somgs to our family and friends in attendance! Dave has 2 children, so between us, we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Two grandchildren have graduated from college already, and two of them are identical twin boys! And, they are all healthy! So, we have much to be thankful for! We currently spend 8 months in Florida and 4 months at our summer place in Michigan. It's a wonderful life when you can wear shorts, and be on the water, 12 months out of the year! We love the casual life on Fort Myers Beach, and will be here until we can't remember what we had for breakfast! Then we plan to move into a lifecare village that is in Fort Myers, still along the water! We are now both retired. Dave retired in 1999, and I was downsized in 2006. I probably would still be working if I wasn't let go! But, I found out it was really the people I loved, not the job! After retirement, I started to Chair the Social Committee at our place in FL, signed up for a local Town Advisory Board, and then was a Board Member in Florida for two years. I'm also currently on the Board of the Diamond Lake Yacht Club, which is the lake we are on during our summers in Michigan. Dave and I also volunteer for events the Chamber of Commerce hosts on the island. So, all of these volunteer jobs have kept me busy. You know what they say about an idle mind.... Dave and I enjoy traveling and have been on numerous cruises to Asia, Italy, Greece, Panama, etc. We also enjoy our various road trips within the USA. I am anxious to see all of my Hopkins High School classmates and catch up with all of you! See you in August! Love, Marilyn
