Comment: I am finally able to play artist. Took a lifetime to get here!! I love western and equine art, but find I get more work doing pet portraits. Both can be found on my webpage at: VickiDowneyCheek.com. I was raised outside Rocheport, MO on a farm then lived in Columbia for many years. It took until 2016 for me to make it back to the country....but I finally made it and it's wonderful, peaceful, and a great home to my husband (who I've been with since 1988) and me along with our two horses and four cats!! Hickman will always remain a fond memory for me. Simpler times for sure.
