Robert A. “Rob” Hosler, age 49, of Huntington, died at 10:45 a.m. Saturday (September 26, 2015) at his home.

Rob was born on August 11, 1966 in Huntington, the son of Roger D. and Linda M. (Chubbuck) Hosler. He graduated from Huntington North High School in 1984 and married Diana Smith on July 3, 2003 in Huntington. For the past two years, Rob worked at Whitley Manufacturing. He was an avid golfer, loved to hunt and fish, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years - Diana Hosler of Huntington; three daughters - Skye Marie Smith (Nathan Griffith) of Andrews and Brittany R. Couch and Peyton E. Hosler, both of Huntington; his mother - Linda M. (Steve) Williams of Andrews; his father - Roger (Wanda) Hosler of Huntington; three sisters - Kim (Lawrence) Shrock, Krista “Nikki” (Brad) Bradford, and Sasha N. (Scott) Myers, all of Huntington; two grandsons - Carter Griffith and Case Griffith, both of Andrews; six nieces; four nephews; and his grandmothers - Juanita Hosler of Huntington and Gelee Kingrey of Warren. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers - Deloss Hosler, George Kingrey, Daniel Chubbuck, and Robert Williams I, and his grandmothers - Trude Jewell and Marlene A. Williams.
