Delbert Dean Thorn Jr., age 53, of Huntington, died at 12:09 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his home.

Delbert was born on July 16, 1966 in Fort Wayne, the son of Delbert Dean Thorn Sr. and Mary Lou (McDowell) Thorn. He was a 1985 graduate of Huntington North High School. Delbert worked for the City of Huntington in the Street Department and was a dog catcher. He enjoyed collecting movies, was an animal lover, and was a loving brother.

Survivors include brothers Russell J. (Robin) King of Fort Wayne and Randy L. Steigerwald of Huntington, a sister, Carolyn (Roy) Glock, and a niece, Misty (Michael) Earhart of Huntington. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debra K. Bailey.
