Ethel was married to Clifton, the 12th born to JR and Mattie. Ethel and Clifton had 10 children, 2 children and Clifton preceded her in death. Ethel was known to everyone to be a true woman of God. Her most common words for everything, good or bad, “let’s pray about it”. Ethel had the exhausting chore of housework for the same families for over 40 years. Ethel would always say “blood is thicker than water “ and “family always comes first “. She was a true pioneer in family togetherness and maintained Sunday dinners for the family until her health no longer allowed her to continue. She is truly missed.
