Carol Tribble
TRIBBLE, CAROL A. (nee Jones), age 58, formerly of Dellwood, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 29th, 2002, in Birmingham, AL. She was born February 16th, 1944 in St. Louis, MO, the only child of Capt. and Mrs. Charles A. Jones Jr. She is survived by and was the beloved wife of 39 yrs. of John Rick Tribble; mother of three sons, John Jr. (Bernadette) of Buffalo, NY, Timothy Charles Tribble (Shelli) of Bloomington, IL and Christopher George of Hoover, AL; grandmother of Ryan Timothy Tribble and Tyler Jordan Tribble of Bloomington, IL; daughter of Sue Hendrickson Jones; aunt of Allison Tribble Payne of Talahasse, FL and Keith B. Tribble of Baton Rouge, LA. She was preceded in death by her father and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. George J. Tribble of Baldwin. A graduate of Ladue High School in 1962, she was an alumni of the University of Missouri. She was a member of Ladue Chapel, serving as a Deaconess and worked as a volunteer at St. Lukes Hospital. Mrs. Tribble was active in the Dellwood community serving as a Cub Scout Den Mother and was chairman of several committees for local parent teacher organizations and youth athletic programs. Until recently, Mrs. Tribble was a teacher aide at the Mothers Day Out Program at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Trussville, AL. [published in St. Louis Post-Dispatch on June 1, 2002]
