The Leesa Anderson Legacy Fund was established in Leesa’s memory to help support students at Rosman High and Middle schools. Leesa was a Tiger from the day she walked into the door. Her positive personality, passion for education, and her caring nature were applied to every student, faculty member, and staff member she came into contact with. She had a passion for all students that she worked with and these students held a special place in her heart. She served as a friend, mentor, mother, and confidant. She gave freely of herself to any young lady that walked in her door and just needed a boost of confidence, a platform to vent, or a shoulder to cry on. In education teachers are invested in their students and enjoy working with them as the students grow, but for Leesa the investment and joy were truly a venture of the heart.
Though there will never be a replacement to the smiling face, encouraging words, or warm and caring heart, it is our hope that through this fund, we can honor Leesa’s memory and continue to provide the support to our students in need. We love, miss, and cherish every memory of you Leesa.
“The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows.”
