Steven Ray “Steve” Schroetlin 42, of Loveland, died Jan. 2, 1997, at Pinewood Reservoir. He was born March 1, 1954, in Loveland to Leslie H. and Lola Maxine Vinzant Schroetlin. He graduated from Loveland High School in 1972. On Nov. 14, 1975, he married Susan Baird in Loveland. He was a partner with Greg Gerrard in G&S Construction for many years. He loved woodworking and golfing. He attended Church of the Good Shepherd. He is survived by his wife, Sue Schroetlin; his daughter, Alexa Schroetlin; his parents, Les and Lola Schroetlin; two brothers, Kenneth Schroetlin and wife Kathy, and David Schroetlin and wife Patti, all of Loveland; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Leon Paul Schroetlin, a daughter, Sarah Leslie Schroetlin, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Schroetlin. Visitation will be at 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday at Allnutt-Hunter Chapel. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Church of the Good Shepherd, with the Rev. Tom Davis officiating. Burial will be in Loveland Burial Park.
