Juan Solis of Ft. Collins, passed away on October 13, 2016 surrounded by his family. Juan was a devoted husband to Linda and a dad to his two daughters Jesse and Heather. Juan was born on January 24, 1953 in Lockney, TX, the son of the late Florencio and Angelita (Farias) Solis. He was a 1972 graduate of Loveland High School. He worked at Advanced Energy for 25 years. In his free time he enjoyed playing, coaching and watching sports. His friendly and upbeat personality attracted many friends throughout his life. Juan was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother (Frenchy), and niece Angie Castro. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughters Jesse and Heather, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Virginia Lafferty; sisters Lupe Castro, Mary (Gary) Davenport, Virginia (Mercy) Guerrero, Juanita (Don) Boss and his brother Jose (Rene) Solis; 9 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nephews. Memorial services will take place at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home. Cremation has been completed.
