Brad Sullivan

Brad Edward Sullivan, 56, passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ. on Saturday, July 24, 2010. He was born on March 03, 1954 in Yuma, Colorado to Wesley and Velma Sullivan. Brad was a loving and devoted husband, father and a friend to many. He and his family moved to Loveland, Colorado where he resided through his school years, including College. His careers included volunteer fireman, EMT, newspaper ad sales as well as the Chamber of Commerce in Lake Havasu City. Brad moved to California in 1987 and married his current wife, Bonnie, in 1991, together they moved to Lake Havasu in 1993 to take over as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, where he was instrumental in moving them to their current location, as well as many other projects he began. He was an active member of the Lake Havasu City Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. Brad's disabilities, sadly, caused him to leave the Chamber work that he so enjoyed. He went on to start a local magazine called "The Insider Magazine", which ran for several years. Brad was a huge Denver Broncos fan and loved life and wanted to live it to the fullest. He will be deeply missed and always loved by his family and friends. Brad is survived by his loving wife of nearly 20 years, Bonnie Sullivan of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; sons, Christopher and Scott Sullivan; daughter, Keri Coe; mother, Velma Sullivan; brothers, Jack and Kent Sullivan; grandchildren, Ayden, Lilly and Grady; many other family in Colorado. A celebration of Brad's life will be held (in the tradition of an Irish Wake) on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 3:00 PM at 2200 Chip Drive. Prior to the celebration, at 2:45 PM -sharp, a short memorial will be held at Jack Hardy Park (Bunker St. end of park). Family and friends are invited to come and celebrate Brad's life with his loved ones. "May the wind always be at your back, may the road rise up to meet you. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand". In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family in Brad's name, payable to Bonnie Sullivan, C/O Compass Bank, 1992 McCulloch Blvd, LHC., AZ. 86403.
