Mike Tesar
It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joe Tesar, who passed on June 23, 2014. Michael was born on October 26, 1954 in North Platte, Nebraska. He moved to Colorado at a young age. Michael lived in Gunnison, Loveland and Masonville in Colorado. He graduated from Loveland High School in 1972. He was a competitor on the swim team in the butterfly, and took State Championship. Michael attended Western State College in Gunnison. He worked on a large ranch to help pay for his college degree. Michael started a career with the City of Loveland after he graduated college. He became supervisor over the Water and Waste plants. He dedicated his career to the City for over 26 years. Michael married Annette on April 18, 1981 in Redstone Canyon. They were happily married for 33 years. Michael was an avid and appreciative sportsman, fisherman and outdoors man. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, animals and nature. Michael is survived by his wife Annette, son Jason Tesar and grandson Jayden, daughter Erin VanDolah, her husband Todd and grandson Chance, mother Helen Gibson, brother John Tesar with wife Bonnie, sister Jan Tesar, and adored black lab, Babe. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Buckhorn Presbyterian Church in Masonville. There will be no viewing.
