Douglas J. Moore passed away on November 20, 2012 at his home in Danby, Vermont. He was born July 23, 1954 in Tracy, MN to Rolland and the late Lillian (Dahl) Moore. He graduated from Loveland High School in 1972 and Colorado State University in 1981 with his Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Electrical Engineering. He was a sergeant in the US Army for 4 years. Doug loved working with computers and put his education to work in the utilities industry "keeping the lights on" across the country and around the world, traveling extensively. Douglas was married on December 12, 2006 to his best friend, Catherine Wohlfeil. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother, Lillian, and twin sisters, Linda and Nancy Moore. He is survived by his wife, Catherine of Danby, Vermont; his father Rolland and stepmother Laura of Loveland; 2 sons, Josiah (Megan) of Maple Valley, WA and Joshua of Kent, WA; a daughter, Rachelle of Kent, WA; a grandson, Jordan of Maple Valley; 2 brothers, Brad (Janie) of Berthoud and Jeff (Kerri) of Loveland; a sister, Kathy Moore of Loveland; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has been completed. Private Services were held at Willow Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery in Currie, MN. Private inurnment Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice in Rutland, VT or to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth/Hitchcock Hospital in NH.
