Craig Oren Branstner, age 71, of Milliken, Colorado passed at home on Friday, October 18, 2024.
Craig was born on October 1st, 1953, in Longmont, Colorado. He was the youngest child of Virginia Jean "Jeanie" (Overturf) and Paul Oren Branstner, both who have preceded him in death. He has two siblings, Paula and Terry Branstner. He married Vickie Spain and had three daughters Julia Jean, Heather, and Crystal. Julia Jean and Crystal have preceded him in death. Craig has four grandchildren. Heather married Jesus Ortega, and they have 2 daughters, Celeste Ortega and Jasmine Ortega. Crystal had a son and daughter, Peter Garcia and Harper Ziebart.
Craig grew up in Loveland and graduated from Loveland High School. Following graduation, Craig joined the Marine Corps and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War era. Upon his discharge, he returned to Loveland and was employed by the Great Western Sugar Company. He worked at three locations during that 40-year period, Loveland, Lovel, Wyoming, and Fort Morgan, Co where he retired. After retirement, he built a home in Milliken, Colorado where he lived until his death.
Craig was a kind and genuine man and shared his amazing accomplishments with his family and friends. Craigs legacy of family first and family always will carry on in our hearts.
Craig will be honored with a military graveside service and placed to rest on June 6, 2025 at 11am at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, Colorado.
