| Tell us a bit about yourself: Married 44 years to Gary Kirkes. One son, three grandchildren. From Gary’s previous marriage, 2 children, five grandchildren and three great grands. Both of us are retired. We are bulldog enthusiasts living in the little town of Goldendale WA after 25 years in the Central Valley of CA. I remain a crafter, as I was in high school. Still love swimming although I rarely swim these days. Very active in our church and I often do large event planning locally. I retired from a lively museum here in Goldendale. I've had a fun and eclectic career with opportunities that evolved into new paths, the highlights: COO, Global Event/Project Producer, and Professional Photographer (Photography Marketing Specialist and Custom Portraits) where I started my own photography company. When covid19 hit, I closed my company of 20 years and went back to school! Yes, I know that sounds crazy. I focused on my hobby of selling antique jewelry (14 years and counting). As of Sept 2024, yes, just last month, I have graduated from Gemological Institute of America. I earned my Graduate Diploma and credentials as a Gemologist plus other credentials along the way. Retire? Maybe some day.... I'm still playing.... I am married. My husband Bob and I have been together 25 years. We are a blended family of 4 boys. We love to travel, I especially love France!! We enjoy living in the bay area and also in the Sierra Foothills. Best of both worlds! That's my update so far. I look forward to seeing everyone!! |
