Obituary for Tom Quinn

Thomas “Tom” Duane Quinn, 52, passed away May 30, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. Tom was born August 4, 1963 in Tulsa to Thomas and Celina (Duncan) Quinn.He was preceded in death by his father. Tom’s includes his wife Carol (Misak), his children, Christine and Tarra, his grandson Henry. Also his mother Celina Quinn, sister Pat (Quinn) Gurley, her husband Mark and their two daughters, Mollie Gurley and Katie Schuler and husband Tony, his sister Eileen Quinn and his sister Celina (Quinn) White, her husband Randle and their son Patrick and wife Beth.In 1981 Tom was a part of the graduating class from Nathan Hale High School. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University where he received a BS degree in Finance and Accounting in 1985. Tom and Carol were high school sweethearts and after both graduating they were married on May 25, 1985. They made their home in Tulsa area where Tom was in the printing industry for 13 years with PF Business Forms. In 1998, he started working for Imagery Concepts in the software and marketing industry and became President and co-owner. Tom had a servants heart and served on many different community organizations one of which was creating a St Patrick’s day party with Meals on Wheels for the past 9 years called “Keeping Em In The Green” to honor his father who was a long time volunteer to help feed the senior citizens of the Tulsa area. He was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Tulsa Men of Christ. Over the years, Tom was very active at The Church at BattleCreek and was the leader of several Journey Groups. Tom cherished his countless friendships in the Tulsa area.Our father was our biggest fan. He attended and coached every sporting event. He encouraged us to follow our dreams. He was a great listener but even better at giving advice. We have many memories in which we will always cherish. He will be deeply missed throughout our lives and we will always miss him in everything we do. We know he is at peace now and will be watching over us from Heaven. I know Tom is dancing for The Lord, and is finally at peace. He’s waiting for us to join him and welcome us with a big hug, smile and laugh from the Tom we will always remember. Heart is broken, miss the First love of my life laughing with me and enjoying life together.
