Earnestine Louise Fulton, 66, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Indianapolis. Earnestine was born in Indianapolis, IN, to Minnie Lee Greer Marshall and Robert Marshall on August 23, 1958. She grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Northwest High School in 1977.
After graduating from high school, Earnestine entered the United States Air Force. She later married and gave birth to her two beautiful daughters, Millicent and Teela, whom she loved tremendously. Earnestine married her husband, Cephas Fulton, on June 3, 2011.
Earnestine was determined to obtain her college degree. She proudly graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She worked as a Human Resources Specialist with the Department of Veteran Affairs until her retirement in 2024.
Earnestine was known for being a classy lady with an impeccable sense of style. She also had a heart of gold, always offering kindness, compassion, and a helping hand to those in need. Her generosity and warmth touched the lives of everyone she met.
Earnestine is preceded in death by her parents, Minnie Lee Greer Marshall and Robert Marshall, her brother Michael Greer, her nephew Anthony Crider, and her niece, LaTasha Mance. Earnestine is survived by her husband, Cephas Fulton; her children, Millicent (Sulaiman) Ahmad, and Teela (Antonio Gilder) McAdams; her sisters, Alma Bewaji, Lucinda (Joe) Dowdell, and Roberta Rowley; her grandchildren, Saabirah, Sulaiman Jr., Sultan, Romeo, Saahirah, Taylor, Timothy, Arielle, Kennedy, and Antonio; her great-grandson, Kaidreon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Earnestine’s services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Crown Hill Cemetery, Remembrance Hall. The family of Earnestine Louise Fulton wishes to extend our sincere thanks for all the love, support, and condolences from family and friends.
A celebration of life for Earnestine will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
