I remember that day that Roger had that terrible accident.  I offered to give Roger a ride home that day because he normally did not drive to school.  We had 3rd period together and then we would go to work.  I spoke to him 15 minutes before I heard the ambulance.  I will never forget when I heard on the radio on my way to work that he had passed away in an accident.  I wish I would have given him a ride.  He might have still been alive today. He was a very nice guy.

Roger said goodbye to me when he left school  He promised he would bring his school picture "tomorrow."  Later in class, we heard the sirens, having no idea they were rushing to the accident.At the funeral, his mother told me the picture was on his dresser and I should come by sometime and get it.I never did.  I was young and afraid of her grief and afraid of saying the wrong thing.  I wish I had that picture now.  Roger was kind and funny and always so nice to me.  I think of him every time I hear "Baker Street"I miss you!
