John D. Stockstill III, beloved husband of Rachel A. Stockstill (nee Damiano) of 31 years; loving father of John Stockstill IV and Sierra Stockstill; dear devoted son of Lt. Col. (Ret.) John D. Stockstill, Jr. and his wife Sarah Stockstill and the late Dolly Cloteal (Nan) Stockstill; blessed with sisters Pamela Vesper and Angela Moats & husband Rick, also stepbrothers Tom Wyvill and Charlie Crump & wife Tiffany. Also survived by many relatives and friends.
The family requests relatives and friends for a Memorial Gathering at St. Mary of the Mills Church, 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, Md. 20707 on Thursday October 15, 2015 from 1 to 4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Mills Church on Friday October 16, 2015 at 10 am. Private burial in Union Cemetery.

I remember lots of great times at NHS with John. Our paths haven't crossed in many years, but I will always remember John as a friend, classmate, teammate. Rest in peace, my friend.
