I was just thinking, 40 years was a long time ago, and I have burned a lot of brain cells since then!  After graduation I attend Boise State University pursuing a degree in party time, and succeeded!!  Not good according to my Mom.  I went back to school in 1976 in the Vocational Technical college for Drafting and Design.  Married a girl I met at BSU, Sharon, and divorced 2 years later.  Managed to work at drafting for about 15 years, Morrison Knudsen and CH2M Hill, then got into computers while working at CH2M Hill.  My vise was competitive slowpitch softball for about 13 years, and then my legs wouldn't run any longer (bad knee from high school football).  I became a motorcycle safety instructor in 1982 and taught locally (Boise) until I met the love of my life.  Sold the bike to buy a crib and changing table, married Sherry (pronounced Sure-ee) (NHS class of 1975) and set off on our adventures as a family.  I went back to school and finished the Associates degree, and then back again and have a BBA in Computer Information Systems, and a Total Quality Management minor.  I have worked at several companies here in Boise, including Ada County Assessor as GIS analyst, Trus Joist as a systems analyst, Micron as a system engineer, Boise Police as a system programmer, and now at Supervalu (Albertsons).

We have 4 wonderful kids; Sara is 21 and living in Boise, Kelsie is 18 and just graduated from Capital High and is going to attend Idaho State University and dance with the Bengal Dancers this fall on scholarship, and Charlie and Selby, both 13 (twins, 1 each) and going into the 8th. grade at Hillside Junior High.  Kelsie is a very good photographer, having some pictures published in the Valley Vision art magazine, and Selby is Miss Nature, and loves to hike and be outside, and Charlie is pretty skilled at Halo (video games), all levels.  Both Charlie and Selby attended The First Tee this year and have become pretty good golfers, Selby was 2nd place at the club championship.  Charlie is an accomplished swimmer on the Lowell Pool team, called the Lowell Lightning.

We have lived in Boise this entire time, and plan to be here a while longer.  In 2005 we bought a small lot in Cascade and we have big plans for retirement, as soon as we win the lottery!!  I am still a motorcycle safety instructor with Idaho STAR (www.idahostar.org), teaching all levels of motorcyclists about handling their bike in all kinds of situations.  I work for Supervalu in Boise for the past 5+ years as a systems engineer (IT geek).  Sherry is the Purchasing Agent for the Idaho Transportation Department, and is planning on finishing her college degree this spring.  We are avid campers, and ride dirt bikes as a family when we can, and like to travel into the mountains for a getaway.  I look forward to re-connecting with all of you that are attending.
