Marital status: Married
Children: 6
Occupation: Finance
Comment: After graduation I spent my freshman year at Brigham Young University, then two years in Japan as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  I returned from Japan and attended a second year of school at BYU.

Discovering that living with my family in Nampa was much cheaper than paying rent at BYU, I moved back to Nampa and began attending Boise State.  It was there that I met and married Sally Miner (Borah girl) in 1977.  We have 6 childrens and 10 grandchildren.  Luckily our grandchildren all live close to us so we see them at least weekly.

While attending BSU I began working at the County Seat clothing store in Boise and managed that store for a number of years. I finally graduated from BSU with my degree in accounting and in 1986 began working for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a project accountant and then area finance manager in Boise.  In 1997 I accepted a position in Salt Lake City and began working with the construction of Temples in the US, Europe, and Africa.  That work took me to England, Spain, Ghana, and Nigeria as well as various places in the United States.

In 2005 I accepted a position in Ghana Africa and for the next three years had a wonderful experience there with Sally and our two youngest children.  The three years we spent there were full of wonderful experiences and people. While there we also had the opportunity to travel and visited Isreal, South Africa, and Botswana.

In 2008 we retuned to our West Jordan Utah home and worked with the building of meetinghouses (Chapels) in the US and Canada.  In 2012 I was asked to take a assigment in Moscow Russia and a new adventure began.  My wife Sally and I lived in Moscow for four years and again had wonderful experiences and met wonderful people.  We had the opportunity to travel to Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and England.  We also took advantage of crusing in the Med during the cold russian winter and visited Italy, Greece, Spain, France, Canary Islands, Azores, Morocco, Sardinia and Sicily. We have developed a love for travel.

We returned home in 2016 and have been enjoying our children and grandchildren.  We still enjoy traveling and have visited Thailand and did a cruise in the Caribbean.  We look forward to new adventures now that things are starting to open up again.

I am still working but am getting close to joining the ranks of the retired.  It didn't make sense to retire during the pandemic shutdown and I have had the nice advantage of working from home with no daily commute and no white shirt and tie.

I look forward to reconnecting at the upcoming reunion.
