Comment:
I have stayed in Nampa my whole life. I've been at my current job for 15 years and love the work building fiberoptic products. The rest of it well...... I enjoy Boise Little Theatre. There are some great people in our area with lots of talent. I just go to watch. Camping, atvs, reading and sewing are other interests and of course my family has always been most important to me. Have seen and kept in touch with a few of you over the years and am hoping to see ( and recognize) alot of you at reunion. I retired in 2015. My interests haven't changed much in the last 10 years. We do a little more traveling. Hit the Oregon Coast every year. Visit realatives in Washington. And I now have a granddaughter who sees doctors in Seattle every 3-6 months so I tag along. I have 4 granddaughters and one grandson. One great grandddaughter and one greatgrandson and another on the way. Fifty years........ |

Comment:
I have lived in Nampa all my life, but have had the opportunity to travel through the United States with the Lloyd Lumber Company. Unfortunately Lloyd's fell victim to the economy and went out of business in December of 2010. After 36 years with only one job, I was out of work. I helped the owner of Lloyd's liquidate the store, and then I went to work for the competition, Stone Lumber Company in February of 2011. I felt very fortunate to find employment. |

Comment: After travelling all over (Florida, Rhode Island, England, California) I moved back home 17 years ago (when I found out I was having twins...I rightly concluded I needed to be next door to my parents!). I have a private practice in Nampa and Caldwell. My 19 year old son is living in Boise and my 17 year old daughters will join him shortly so they can attend BSU. I have been happily married for 2 years to an old friend (we met doing volunteer work when we were teenagers), Gill King, who works as a train engineer out of La Grande. |
