Comment: Greetings from sunny Oregon!

My years have been exciting. I love my job, and live for it. Two practices, one in Oregon and now a new one, just starting in McCall, keep me hopping. I devote a large part of my practice to placing dental implants, restoring them, and teaching the process to other dentists. For my efforts I have been awarded the position of Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

A few years ago Oregon lost a quality dental hygiene program. Working with Pacific University a new four year program was developed that will serve the needs of Oregon and beyond. This effort is one of my greatest accomplishments.  It feels good to give back to a profession that has given me so much.

In my spare time I work with the Legislatures in Salem to pass bills furthering the efforts to protect our youth from the ravages of Childhood Sexual Abuse. I also work with organizations to bring public awareness to the problem, and attempt to help large organizations involved with our youth understand their role in our collective efforts to make this a safer world for kids.

Looking forward to seeing all of you!

Comment: Hey Everyone! Sorry that I'm not there this year, but after "my" car accident in Nov. of 08 and the stroke that followed the accident, my Dr. said my brain is pretty scrambled. I can't work anymore, and I have pretty much become a hermit, except when I make Rob take me shopping. We will be married 40 years in Nov, the 24th. I have 6 granddaughters. One is in the army and stationed in Germany. All in all everything is pretty much the same I think. I don't remember much, and forget things in a split second on my bad days. Hope you all have a great time, even though I'm not there.

Joined the Army in 1972 as a Military Pay Specialist ending up at Ft. McPherson, GA.  Married Jim on December 29, 1973.  Following discharge from the Army, worked a variety of clerical jobs prior to going to work for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1977.  Transferred to Texas in 1978 and retired as an IT Manager at the Carswell Federal Medical Center in 2004.   Now I'm a full time grandma, homemaker, gardener, whatever . . . .

We have 3 beautiful daughters: Mindy (46), Cyndee (45) and Mattie (35), in addition to six wonderful stepsons:  Jim Jr., David, Todd, Joey, Chris, & Richard; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.  Needless to say, our holidays are lively and full!!

Since the 40th Reunion, we lost one son, Todd, to cancer.  I've worked part-time at a Hallmark Store.  Then went to work full-time for American Airlines for a year and a half until I resigned to undergo two major back surgeries.  That was all before Covid hit.  Now I'm re-retired and really ready to socialize again soon!!

Looking forward to the 50th reunion!  The 45th mini-reunion picnic was so fun, we stayed in the park catching up past curfew and were asked to leave by a very young policeman.  LOL!  I guess we seniors were causing too much ruckus!!
