$12,792.00 Team FranzoneHello! I’m Jeanne M. Franzone, MD – I am an orthopaedic surgeon at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Alfred I. duPont Campus in Wilmington, DE. My passion is to provide orthopaedic care for children and young adults with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI). I am fortunate to lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the care of patients with OI from the prenatal period through the age of 35 years old. Getting to know my patients with OI and their families and be part of their OI care is something I love and truly appreciate.
I am so very excited to be part of the team representing the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation (OIF) on the Medics on the March, starting July 21, 2025! Fellow OIF Medical Advisory Council (MAC) members Drs. Maegen Wallace and Reid Sutton and physicians from the United Kingdom and Europe and I will be hiking 57 miles along the Fife Coastal Path in Scotland to raise international awareness of OI and fundraise for the OIF!
The OI Foundation plays a critical role in the OI community – the OIF team is dedicated to supporting patients and medical professionals and supporting research efforts that directly advance the care for patients with OI. Proceeds will help the OIF respond to more than 11,000 inquiries each year for medically verified information and support, produce new information resources for individuals and medical professionals, fund research and facilitate support groups across the country for the nearly 50,000 men, women and children affected by OI in the United States.
