Comment: Connie graduated from W.S.U. in 1979 then had a career in the Music Industry for over 20 years. She obtained a Masters in Business in 1986 from the University of Puget Sound and later moved to Vancouver WA in 1988 when she was working for MCA Records/Universal Distribution. She entered the Catholic Church in spring of 1995 after having a major conversion and studied for her Masters in Theology Degree, graduating in 1998. She loves to travel and has been to Hawaii numerous times as well as several countries including Mexico, Italy, France, and Israel. Connie married Michael "Mike" Murphy in 2001 and moved to Grants Pass Oregon from Washington State (she thought she would never cross the Columbia River to move to Oregon!). They met in Rome in October of 2000. In 2004, Connie joined Mike as co-owner of Murphy's "We Do" Plumbing and has been answering the phones, scheduling jobs, doing bookkeeping, and managing the business as her husband bids jobs and serves customers with their plumbing needs. They enjoy spending time in Brookings on the Southern Oregon Coast. Connie loves flowers and has over 100 peonies at the farm (over 55 varieties) along with lilacs, daylilies, daisies, butterfly bushes, lavender, salvia and more. Recent projects at the farm were building a barn and chicken coop. They enjoy raising chickens and having farm fresh eggs. They look forward to retiring soon and traveling more. Bucket List items - going to Italy & France to take cooking and language lessons; getting an RV and traveling the country; spending time at tropical locations in the South Pacific, Caribbean, Bahamas, and Hawaii. We look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!
