Comment: Park Patiets and Parkettes were the most Amazing and Memerable times of my teenage years! How many girls can say they Cheered the 4th Super Bowl in the history of the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings !!

The Parades, country club performances, the Minnesota State Fare, cheering at the Old Met, outdoor football, our travels to beautiful countrys, to name a few, are memories I will cherish forever!

The sisterhood of this organization, the friendships I made, and still have, was a great gift given to me when I made Parkettes! Thank You Mrs Libby and Tony!

We are the Parketts Parketts are we!

Comment: Parkettes was such a positive experience that deeply influenced me and continues to benefit me all these years later.  The friendships, travel experience, hard work and personal accountibility all helped me down the path that I am so grateful to be travelling today.   I cherish the memories and feel so much richer for having had the experience.

Comment: I have been enjoying searching this website and it has brought back many memories!

I remember being a Park Petite ... I would ride my bike to Westwood Junior High for practice and loved loved loved it.  I looked up to those girls in black jumpers and I knew I wanted to be one of them.

Then the opportunity to try out, I remember practicing and practicing -- then waiting in the hall to be called in.  So many girls came out crying ... when my turn came I remember feeling so scared!  My worst fear came true in the middle of my routine my mind went blank, then I remembered -- just kick then I remembered the rest of my routine and finished -- I kept smiling!  But I thought for sure I failed!

When the bus came to my house and sang that special song and the necklace was placed around my neck -- I was so happy.  I'll never forget that day!

I loved everything about our experience as Parkettes, and Viking Cheerleadiers.  Teaching other young girls to dance and participate in the half-time shows.  Parents, siblings and boyfriends encouraging us all the way.

Employers being lienient with our football, performance and practice schedules!

Blessed!
