Comment: Have many fond memories of Parkettes and being a Viking Cheerleader - friendships made, antics of Mrs. Libby, the great trips, singing on the bus rides (and we knew all the lyrics) just to name a few.  Some things I can't mention. What happens in Parkettes stays in Parkettes!

I don't think we realized what a privilege it was to cheer for the Vikings - took it for granted - no big deal.  That opportunity doesn't exist for Parkettes anymore. Things are so different now.

Comment: Both of my older sisters were in Parkettes so it was never a question that I would try out.   I loved dancing but I really loved being part of such an incredible organization.   Parkettes taught me commitment, leadership, time management and the importance of team work.   The friends I made and the experiences that we had have shaped the person that I am today.   I will always be so grateful and proud that I was a Parkette and a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader.
