Comment: Being a Parkette was an opportunity to learn many things.  Parkettes taught me about true commitment, dedication, discipline, focus, responsibility, being a team player, setting goals and developing attributes that I have carried me throughout my life. Best of all it created lifelong memories and friendships that exist today. This real life experience has gone beyond my wildest dreams! Parkettes was a stepping stone and inspired me to pursue a Degree in Dance from the U of M.  For 20 years I had Big Step Stidio and worked in schools integrating the arts in all curricular areas. Later as an Elementary teacher I continued to use movement in my classroom.to enhance and anchor learning.   Moving is learning and I still can't sit still.

What an honor, what an opportunity, what a journey!
