I got to know Meredith in our intial early days at R-B, because of the close proximity of our lockers. Years later I had the great fortune to work with Meredith on the 20th R-B Class Reunion, or as I like to fondly refer to as the "Hay Administration". It was through the tireless efforts of Meredith, along with hosting many of the Reunion Meetings at her home, that made the 20th a huge success. RBHS Blast Reunions at Kiwanis Park around 2006-7 would be the last time I got a chance to visit with Meredith. Again as always Meredith was working tirelessly. This time it being the "Stars and Stripes". This was a charitable foundation that Meredith had organized to help provide everday essentials and care packages for  US Military men and women in combat zones overseas. I always found Meredith's level of energy to be amazing. Sadly Meredith would succumb to the dreaded ALS. Meredith was a great humanitarian, and friend. A wonderful woman, with a great sense of humour. Meredith was one of a kind !!!

Meredith was my cheerleading partner for three years. Our mothers had trouble identifying us in uniform from across the gym so we always called each other our twin. Wonderful memories of a terrific friend. Miss you,  Mere.
