Classmate Profiles

Sixty Plus years since we graduated!
Please create or update your biography.
Tell classmates about yourself! Click on "Add Your Profile" and fill out the form so that we have up-to-date contact information. You may also wish to add a short bio about what you've been up to the last 50 years. It's a great way to "reacquaint" ourselves with one another. Please note that there is a limit of 220 words - about 22 lines.
It's recommended that you not share upcoming vacation dates, day & month of your birth, financial information and other sensitive information on the internet.
Important: Your contact information will not be posted on the site (however, others will be able to send you an email if you include your email address in the setup information of your profile).
Some ideas when writing: Did you attend college/where? What do/did you do for a living? What kinds of things do you like to do for fun? Have you done any traveling? Any other thoughts/memories would be great too.
Don't forget to add a recent picture (can be individual, with significant other, family, etc.)! We will upload your yearbook picture for the "then" picture, but if you would prefer to use an alternative picture, you may do so as well. Just click "Edit Entry."
Our paths began as a blank page to be written on by experience. Our parents and friends escorted us down the path that curved and rose and fell shaping the person we are today. Like the proverbial moss we gathered acquaintances and life longfriends to traveldown our mutual paths. Each footway had epiphanous moments perhaps changing our path.
A pivotal event in our lives was graduation from our twelve years of education - from there we looked toward the future with hopes and dreams. Within this set of reflections are some of examples of how these dreams manifested themselves into fruition. Stories, memories, education, family, activism, etc. all of that brought us to here pondering is that all there is?

Comment: | Hello Everyone, Can hardly wait until the 50th reunion (is it really 50?). I was divorced and have now been married to Don for 20 years. We have six children and 15 grandchildren between us. I retired in December 2006 after 21 years with a Manufacturer Rep Group and prior to that I was a Buyer for Gamble-Skogmo. Now I enjoy our grandchildren, volunteering, playing bridge (party and duplicate), traveling, ballroom dancing, walking and biking. Guess I like to be busy! See you soon. |

Occupation: | engineer |
Comment: | I graduated from U of M in 1965 in chemical engineering. My first job was with the international department at Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati. I have them to thank for terrific assignments in France, Venezuela and Mexico. Later jobs gave me 5 years in Brazil and 3 years in Puerto Rico. I am now retired and enjoying life in Sabaneta (near Medellin), Colombia, since my wife Lucy (Maria Lucia) is a native Colombian. Here we can actually afford to live well on my social security! I still play the trumpet, and I am a member of a fine symphonic band sponsered by a nearby culture center. Cliff |

Comment: | We had four children, all boys. Chris, 1961; Erik, 1962-2005; Matthew, 1963-1995; Andrew, 1966. My husband, Doug, and I have lived in 9 states throughout our marriage. Doug was an officer in the Navy and retired in 1983. We now live on a small lake in the middle of Wisconsin. I spend most of my time, when not working, in my "production room" as my husband calls it, making quilts and stamping. I love living in the country, taking long walks with my friend, Molly, a 9 year old black lab, reading everything I can get my hands on or listen to on tapes. |

Occupation: | Semi-retired travel & transportation |
Comment: | Hi everyone! The reunion will be here before we know it and I am really looking forward to it. Pat and I have been married for 38 years and have 2 beautiful daughters. Our oldest, Suzanne has blessed us with twins (age 4) and little Joey (age 2). Jenny, our younger daughter is single and lives about 2 miles from us here in Apple Valley, MN. I have spent my entire career in the travel and transportation industry in one form or another. I have owned and/or managed travel agencies and also worked in sales and marketing for the German airline. I also have been associated with several bus companies, working in tour sales and actual bus driving. I am currently semi-retired driving an express transit bus part time, and love every minute of it. I have also kept up playing my clarinet, retiring after 24 years in the Army Band part time. I currently play with the Mpls. Police Band. We love to go camping in our 30' travel trailer every weekend during the summer at a different state park. In the winter, we make a short trip to a warmer climate and are looking forward to a 10 day Southern Caribbean Cruise in January. See you in September 2010 ! |
