David Reese was born in Stephens County, Georgia to the late Lawrence and Lottie Lee Richie Reese. He passed away at his home. He was a member of Cleveland C.M.E. Church and worked at Morgan Concrete Company as a truck driver for many years. Left to cherish his memory, a devoted companion, Frances Wiley.

Eliza E. Reese
1941-05-19 2004-08-18Eliza Reese departed this life at Athens Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lottie Lou Reese. She joined Cleveland C.M.E. Church at an early age. She was a member of the Sunday School class and a member of the Ladies Missionary.

Lottie Lou Reese (Richie)
1912-04-24 2001-02-01Lottie Lou Richie was born in Stephens County to the late Dennis and Ludella Richie. She departed this life at the home of her daughter. She was the widow of Lawrence Reese and a faithful member of Cleveland C.M.E. Church. Lottie Lou has four children (Annie Boyd, Margaret Thornton, Eliza Reese, David Reese). She was preceded in death by 13 sisters and brothers. At the time of death, Lottie Lou had 9 grandchildren.

Ricky "Rocky" Reese
1958-10-17 2010-03-10Rocky Ricky Reese was born in Stephens County, Georgia on October 17, 1958. He departed this life on March 10, 2010 at his home. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Thornton of the home; and one ste-father, Earnest Thornton. He also leaves: two brothers, Jimmy Reese and Raymond Reese of Toccoa, Georgia; two sisters, Linda Thornton and Brenda Thornton of Seneca, South Carolina; one aunt, Annie Boyd of Toccoa; and a host of cousins and friends.

Almeta (Almeda) Richie (Drake)
1903-03-22 1990-08-27Almeta Drake Richie, 87, widow of Styles Richie, Sr died at the Oconee Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Minnie Cherry Drake and a member of Cleveland CME Church in Toccoa, GA. Almeta married Styles Richie, Sr and they had 9 children (Jasper, Lurenia, Howard, Mable, Henry, Burice, Styles Jr., and two children preceded them in death Steve Drake and Baby Gladis Rosella who died at one year old. At time of death, Almeda had 23 granchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Barbara (Bobbie Sue) Richie (Pittman)
1939-10-05 2002-10-25Barbara "Bobbie Sue" Pittman Richie was the daughter of the late Deacon L.C. Pittman, Sr and Irene Law Pittman. She was married to Henry Richie and they had four children (Henrietta Richie Hawes, Charles Richie, Bernard Richie, Julius Richie). Barbara was a member of the Rogers Chapel Baptist Church for many years. She was the president of the Rogers Chapel Senior choir and the president of the Pastor's Aid. She was an original member of the Lighthouse Gospelettes. Barbara retired from Wilkins Industries after 33 years. At the time of death, Barbara had 7 grandchildren.<...

Bernard Richie

Bernard Edward Richie died on Friday, December 6, 2013. Nod, as he was fondly called, was the second of four children born to the late Henry and Barbara Pittman Richie. Bernard was the grandson of Styles and Almeda Richie. Bernard joined Rogers Chapel Baptist Church at an early age and was a faithful employee of the University of Georgia as Grounds Crew Supervisor, a position he held for many years. Bernard also held a PhD in hat wearing, fishing and going to the movies. He had a strong passion for family, friends, and the Georgia "Dawgs".

Dennis Richie

Dennis was married to Loudella Burton Richie and in this union they had 14 children. Henry, Beatrice, Mary, Georgia, Styles, Jade, Gemimia, Meggie, William, Bessie, Hubert, Lottie Lou, Alberta, Olivia. According to the U.S. Census, Dennis married Ludella in 1892 at the age of 21. Dennis and both his parents were born in Georgia.
He was the son of Jack and Josephine. Dennis passed away in May 1942 at the age of 69.
