Percy Vandella Williams II, a graduate of the University of Georgia and the University of Georgia law school, and former legislative counsel in Congress, went Home to be with the Lord on Sept. 14, 2017, at the age of 56. Percy, the fifth and last child of educators Russell and Alma Williams, was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and raised in Savannah, Georgia. He was an alumnus of Sol Johnson High School, the University of Georgia, and the University of Georgia Law School.
