Allan was in the army from 1959-1965. He served in Izmir, Turkey. Then he was an estimator for Anderson/Magruder Mechanical Contractors. "Allan enjoyed hunting and fishing, was a good family man, and spent a lot of time with his children and grandchildren" He retired in early January, 2000 and died seven months later. His home was in Kirkland.
