Nancy Irene Loney passed away peacefully at Highline Medical Center on Saturday, June 11, 2011 surrounded by her loving family after a sudden illness. Nancy Hoynes was born on September 5, 1940 to parents Gunnar and Mary Virginia and big brother Gerald, who have preceded her in death. Nancy started working for Northwest Airlines in 1960 and retired a reservation 'supervisor' after 40 years in 2000. She is survived by Richard Loney, her loving husband of 43 years; children Kari and Erik; daughter-in-law Amanda Coulter; and grandsons Cooper and Lukas. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, quilting, spoiling her grandsons, rooting on the Mariners and was a penny slot machine aficionado. She was a kind, generous and loving person who will be missed every day. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
