Larry Rudy Scanzon
Of Woodinville, passed away suddenly on December 7, 2010 at the age of 70. His loving wife Nancy, Larry's sons, David, Vinnie, Gil and his daughters Carla and Christine survive him. Thirteen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive him. He is preceded in death by daughter Karen Lynn Uptain and grandson Joshua Quested. Larry was born in Seattle on January 15, 1940. Raised in Seattle by his parents Rudy and Jewel Scanzon, he graduated from Roosevelt High School. At the age of 18 he began working at United Control which was acquired many times and eventually by Honeywell. He retired from Honeywell in 2002 after 40+ years of service. Larry loved photography, golf, fly fishing, warm Bud Lite, camping and enjoyed the great outdoors. As a devoted husband, Larry was the best friend that a wife could have. He was always there to listen and provide support and encouragement. As a father he offered his children his unconditional love and in later years transitioned into a cherished friend to all of his children.
Larry had an incredible sense of humor and loved to laugh. But nothing brought him more joy than to hear the laughter of the people he loved.
