Theodore Leonard Streukens, 77, of Gainesville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family in Gainesville, FL on Friday, January 26, 2018. Ted was born in Tacoma, WA in March 28, 1940 and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School is Seattle, WA and Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. Ted was a long time resident of Lansing and Dewitt, MI and Belleair Bluffs, FL.
Ted is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret, sister Susie (Roger) Kirkpatrick of The Villages, FL, seven children, thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Cathy (George) Manson of Lansing, MI, Steve (Vicki) Streukens of Perrington, MI, Tony (Michelle) Streukens of Gainesville, FL, Tom (Shirl) Streukens of Tallahassee, FL, Bruce (Mo) Streukens of Salt Lake City, UT, Kristin (Jason) Streukens of Salt Lake City, UT and Greg (Angel) Streukens of Gainesville, FL.
Ted was an avid golfer and sports fan. He loved the Tampa Bay Rays, Michigan State Spartans (GO GRFEEN!) and Florida State Seminoles (GO NOLES!)
