Diane Clare Diamond Foreman: A retired elementary education teacher and savvy businesswoman was passionate about her family, friends, and the arts.
Diane, lovingly known as Dee Dee, passed away peacefully at her home in Phoenix, Arizona on April 28, 2021. She was born in Seattle, Washington to Josef and Violett Diamond on March 30, 1940.
Diane was a shining example to everyone around her. She attended Helen Bush School, Mills College, and transferred to UW where she graduated with dual Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and Education.
In 1961, Diane married Richard Foreman. She worked in the Seattle School District from 1962-65 before committing her full attention to raising her family. In 1988, Diane founded Columbia West Properties, Inc. It's notable properties included Columbia West Building, Waterworks Marina and Offices, and the historic Holyoke Building.
Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Richard. She is survived by her two children; Steven Foreman (Yama) and Michelle Barnet (Stephen), her grandchildren Alexandra, Ariana, Maxwell, and Philip; and her precious dog, Roxy.
