Mathis leaves behind his mother. Marietta Bell: brothers, Desi Ransor, Marcus Bell, Sr. (Mariah), Michael Bell, Sr. and Adrial Ransor; six nephews, five nieces, 2 great nephews, 1 great niece, other relatives and friends.
Shortly after he attended Sullivan Junior College where he received his degree in Culinary Arts. Over the past 30 years he worked for many restaurants and was a host of| many private events because of his uncanny ability to please others with food.
Mathis attended Louisville Public Schools and was a proud graduate of Seneca High School in 1989.
Mathis professed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was a member of King Solomon Baptist Church.
Mathis Lee Bell, Jr was born on August 8, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky to Mathis and Marietta Bell. He is preceded in death by his father Mathis Lee Bell, Sr.
