Janice Bustos, age 40, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008 after a long illness. 
Janice is survived by her children, Nicole C De Baca and her husband, Chris, Brittney Bustos, Marissa Bustos and Chantel Roybal, grandchildren, Santiago and Iziquial, her mother, Kathy Roybal, her siblings, Deborah Gorenz, Benjamin C. Roybal and his wife, Connie, Jeff M. Roybal and his fianceé, Rachael Doheny, Carla M. Parmoon and her husband, Jay and Diane Roybal, aunts, Mary Lou Pavlich and Phyllis Pavlich, both of Raton, NM, nieces and nephews, Erica Jeantete and her husband, Tomás, Elisa Gorenz, Jeff Alan Roybal, Ryan Parmoon and Ben Parmoon, great-niece and nephews, Tomás, Gabriella and Isaiah and other relatives and friends. 
Janice was preceded in death by her father, Judge Ben F. Roybal in 1980 and Rudy Gonzáles. Janice was born in Albuquerque, NM on January 4, 1968 and graduated from Sandia High School. 
Janice was a very independent person who loved to cook and play with her dogs. Janice was a member of Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church. 
Janice was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 
Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. on Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 5:00 until Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Claremont and Vermont Streets NE on Monday, September 29, 2008, at 8:30 a.m., followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Roybal, Jeff M. Roybal, Chris Jones, Jay Parmoon, Tomás Jeantete and Chris C de Baca. Honorary Pallbearers will be Al Ortiz and James L. Bustos.
