Died at the age of 26. Her husband, David Benenson, wrote, "Rita was a beautiful and fun-loving woman! She had many friends and simply “Loved Life”. She did, however, have some medical issues over the years that prevented her from participating in many activities. After college Rita worked in the medical profession helping adolescent children and teenagers who had behavior and emotional problems. She loved children of all ages and had a very close relationship with all of her nieces and nephews".
